Dr. Shweta Bansal – Pediatric Hematologist

Dr. Shweta Bansal is a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Hematologist & Oncologist with extensive education and training in her field. She earned her MBBS from Jammu Government Medical College in 1998, and her Diplomat of National Boards in Pediatrics from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2005.

Dr. Bansal has also completed various specialist training programs in Pediatrics Oncology in India, Europe, & the United States. She holds European certification in Medical Oncology from ESMO & completed an IOP Fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis in 2011. She was also a Bone Marrow Transplant Fellow at the Pediatrics Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the National University Hospital in Singapore from 2012-2013.

In addition to her impressive education & training, Dr. Bansal has held several positions in the medical community, including Treasurer of the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Chapter of IAP from 2014-2018, Executive Member and Newsletter Editor for SIOP ASIA, and Editor-in-Chief of the South Asian Journal of Cancer from 2014-2016.

Moreover, Dr. Bansal is also a dedicated teacher, serving as a DNB coordinator from Pediatrics & HOD for family medicine & thesis guide.
